Antonia Quinton Hemmett

Where do I start? Well I first had contact when I was 13 years old and I was alone in starting my Bronze award in my town. That was 24 years ago and since then I have completed my Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, returned to volunteer once at St James Palace with VIP's and then moved country. So I thought that was the end. Little did I know that the award was international and there was an office in Luxembourg, where I moved. In the last 5 years I have done Leader, Supervisor and Assessor training, assisted with training new leaders and worked with the 'national' team on expeditions. I have met and made various friends, some I hope will be lifelong. My determination and value for my work with the award is some of my most important achievements and I am so proud of my Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
