The life where we have wonderful global support, strong community partners, and a true village approach when working together. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award program provides this platform for the youth all around the world, allowing them the opportunity to work together to make a difference. The award has both been challenging and rewarding. It has made me step outside of my comfort zone yet made me feel stronger. It has equipped me to feel empowered, confident, resilient and build necessary life skills. It has allowed me to gain new positive experiences, perspectives and take loads of fond memories that I know I’m going to carry with me on this journey called life.
