I completed my bronze award in 2016 And it really was a challenge for me as I had my final exams along with my qualifying journey in the same week. But I somehow managed to be a Merit holder at my final exam and to complete my Gold award.

And also I got the opportunity to be a member of the first team representing Sri Lanka in the exchange program of awardees of South Asian Pacific region to visit Nepal in 2017. And I completed my Gold award in 2019.

Today I'm proud to say that I'm a Gold awardee at the Duke of Edinburgh family. The Duke of Edinburgh award is not only an award it's a bridge that connects people all around the world, being a platform for the young people to show their talents abilities and skills to the whole world.
