I have heard a lot about the award before, but hearing about something and experiencing it, is quite different. In a scant few months I learned a lot, not only about the world around me, but also about myself.

The award gave me a safe environment to experiment; it allowed me to finally exit my comfort zone without fear. I have gained the confidence to seek my own dreams and chart my own path.

Being both a participant and an award leader at the same time was such an enlightening experience. The award allowed me to accomplish things that only a year ago I thought to be impossible. It’s really astonishing to see how much I improved in one year and it was only due to the award.

I am truly grateful to be allowed this opportunity, and as an award leader I am hoping to help others experience the same.
