Having been an Award participant and rose to the ranks of a Gold Award holder and becoming Chairperson of the Gambia Gold Award Holders Association (1998-2007) as well having to work in The Gambia Award office as a full time employee for 8 yrs. I came to understand that the Award program is a "human program" as it teaches me to be human, to learn and share, to appreciate and inspire others, to tolerate and accommodate, to give as well be part of those taking away best of human values.
My satisfaction is when I walk along the street and meet up with young people I have supported, helped, inspire and learn from and they appreciate me for what I have done for them to become productive socially and economically, I feel like already in heaven while living. That one you helped to change is the saviour of mankind.
