When I started the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, I had no idea how impactful it would be for me. It is always amazing to see how the award transcends culture, religion, and gender and creates a community of young people who are resilient and determined. One of my fondest memories since joining the award Is having had the opportunity to participate in forum 2018 in Ghana. It was amazing to experience the award in action in another country, and seeing how the award helps to prepare young people to be world ready.
