Shirley Baston
As an Expedition Assessor, my memories include finding the best vantage spots to watch participants from afar (especially useful if they all had different coloured rucksacks), chasing a llama down a road in the Peak District which the hikers had accidentally let escape and thankfully seeing hikers appear out of sudden, thick mist thanks to their compass skills. Proud to have been associated with this wonderful award and so grateful to Prince Philip for his service.
