I’m eternally grateful to The Award and the impact it’s had on my life. It helped me to realise the importance of volunteering at a very early age in life. It also helped me to learn to work in teams. I always remember, with excitement, the regular visits The University of Ghana Chapter of The Award used to make to the Borstal Home in Accra and the memorable times we spent with the inmates. I always wear my Silver Medal to work with so much confidence.
