I started the Award in 2018 with an aim of seeking self development and reaching out to my society.
Through it i was able to exercise and practice what i love the most. Community service and writing.
I have always insipired myself to have my own foundation where i can reach out to more people out there.
What spurred me to reach out to our young girls out there. Was the number at which early marriages and divorces were raising, school dropouts among the girls were accelerating. I found a need and a purpose to guide our girls from befalling such fates.
I was able to visit over 20 schools in our Area (Kenya, Mombasa). Touched lives and transformed many. The foundation still being in mind. It shall soon kick off
With my writing skills i started a blogging site (UnleashingTheSHEpower) were i was able to create awareness and reached out to as many individuals as possible.
