One of my first few AJ trip that i help out, one of the student don't have the opportunity to do cooking at home, and finally have a chance to do cooking during the AJ trip. He ask me how to crack an egg. And I teach him how to do that. Then that moment when he first try to crack the egg and manage to do that. The enjoyment & success of his face is priceless. I also teach him how to do a simple fried eggs. ! He is so happy ! I manage to buy more eggs for him to try and do fried eggs for all of us. That moments, is my starting point to get more serious, and do get more involvement in DOE to help our youth to experience and learn more life skills. I already in my 17 years with DOE, and will continue more....Thanks !
