Emmanuel Laryea

As young as I was at 15 years of age during my time with the Boys' Brigade-La, I still did my Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of the Award. Through my skills learning I became a drum major to our Brigade Band and later learnt how to play the bass drum as well. The Award gave me the opportunity to discovered my leadership skills, where I became deputy district coordinator and later became a volunteer to the National Award Operator (NAO) for about 7 years. I am now staff at the NAO as operations Manager due to the Award programme. I have also developed youth development skills and I have also impacted on over thousands of young people in Ghana so far and many other skills i have gained through the Award programme.

Thanks to HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh's for such a wonderful initiative. #Yourlegacyliveson #Thankyou #Wearewolrdready.
