Coming from a humble background, the Award enabled me realize the leadership potential in me. Without the leadership skills learnt over my time as a participant and leader, it would have been difficult for me to chair the Competitions Committee of the Federation of Motorsports Club of Uganda and later on serve as the National Director of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Uganda
