We are indeed sadden by the passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the Founder of our cherished Award programme. We in Ghana are grateful to HRH for such a great impactful self discovery and learning programme that has touched and impacted on the lives of thousands of young people in Ghana.
Since the inception of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Ghana, over 750,000 young people have participated and benefited from it till date. Annually, an average of 15,000 young people's life are touched, shaped and transformed through the Award Scheme. This is the legacy of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and we are even more challenged and motivated to extend the reach of the Award to more and more young people in Ghana.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Management and the entire Award Family in Ghana, we wish to express our deepest condolences to HRH The Queen and the entire Royal Family for their loss. We pray for Gods continuous guide, protection and comfort now and forever. The Legacy of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh lives on..!
