Sandeep Dutt

On the 2nd May 2009 - Sandeep Dutt was nominated as National Director for The Duke Of Edinburgh's Award in India (IAYP). He served in the position till 2012; moved on to transform schools, finally setting up the Learning Forward India Foundation. 33 years of service - three decades of volunteering and three years as National Director. Sandeep set up the International Award for Young People Secretariat in India in 2010. He transformed the near fifty years old Programme into a much-desired youth development program in India. The use of cloud computing, volunteer management and successful partnering with schools helped create the sustainable development model for IAYP.

In the sixty-odd years of the Award in India, perhaps the longest-serving volunteer. Witness the good times and the the years HRH Prince Philip created the worldwide youth network. From the days of Loftus Edward Peyton Jones to John May at the Secretariat, Sandeep has not witnessed but been the changemaker!
